Academic Integrity Agreement

Academic integrity in all that is presented by the Exclusive Technology Center is expected from every trainer and student and from all its employees. The most important academic values are based on the concept of honesty while respecting the intellectual efforts of the individual and others, and it is assumed that this responsibility is adhered to by the Exclusive Technology Center for Training and to enhance this value.

This memorandum deals specifically with the behavior of trainers, students, and workers as well, as we have a zero-tolerance policy for cheating, forgery, plagiarism or any other violation of the integrity law.

Examples of violations of the Academic Integrity Code include:

  • - Literary and intellectual plagiarism and plagiarism, such as quoting other people's phrases and works, and unauthorized use of intellectual and literary records or any information in any academic use without referring to it as a reference.
  • - Presenting bribes to any of the center's parties, such as the center’s workers or cooperating to execute a specific service or granting a certificate without merit.
  • - Cheating, transfer of others' work, and unauthorized use of any notes, information or materials in training work.

Based on the principle that academic integrity leads to an increase in scientific activity, maturity of intellectual production and prosperity of community life, we, The Exclusive Technology Center for Training, are committed to adhering to and care about everything that achieves academic integrity, such as commitment to scientific honesty in all works and materials provided, commitment to documentation of the sources from which information and data are taken, and respect for all regulations and applying them.

Committing to and spreading the principles of intellectual property rights and copyright.

The concept of intellectual property according to the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property states:

It is the set of rights that protect human thought and creativity, including copyright and related rights, patents, trademarks, industrial models, plant varieties, and layout designs for integrated circuits. 

In the Exclusive Technology Center, we pledge to the principles of protecting intellectual property rights and digital content publishing rights in the center's platforms. In addition, intellectual property policies have been clarified for all of our employees, and that intellectual property policies are followed during the training process. We also undertake to inspect all electronic courses to ensure that they are free from violations of intellectual rights, and that the content, design, compilation, translation and all other materials related to the center are protected under copyright and property rights laws. The user is not entitled to copy, publish or distribute any materials published on the center's website and attributed to it without mentioning its source, and it is not permissible to amend or quote the material on this site to create a new work or use it for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use. The institute reserves all the legal rights to sue those who violate this condition, in accordance with the intellectual property laws, and accordingly, all these rights are reserved.

Cheating Prevention Policy:

Out of the exclusive technology center’s keenness on academic integrity, the center adopts a zero-tolerance policy for Cheating, and the center is keen to prevent Cheating
The Cheating prevention policy is based on setting the necessary controls to prevent cheating in exams and to punish those whose practice is discovered any of the acts that are interpreted as attempting to cheat or attempting to facilitate cheating for the self and others, which are as follows:

  • In the event that attending and passing the exam is a condition for obtaining one of the certificates issued by the center, the trainee must attend the examination and pass the minimum number of correct answers by himself without any external help, which are examples:
    • Trying to communicate with anyone for help answering test questions
    • Trying to use technological means, books, or slides to search for answers to the test questions - unless explicitly stipulated to allow this, as in the example of open-source tests (open book)
  • The duration of the exam and the number of questions will be specified before the start of the test and known to the trainee, and the trainee has no right to communicate with anyone during the test period
  • The trainee is prohibited from recording, photocopying, or publishing part or all of the exam content in any medium, whether paper or digital
  • In the event that the trainee violates any of the previous points, the student is prevented from obtaining the certificate, and canceled if it has already been issued, and the student is also prevented from attending any other courses of the center
